Alongside Karina Wirtz, Managing Director of the German Offshore Wind Energy Foundation, and moderated by Dr. Steffen Knodt, Member of the Board of GMT and head of the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Ocean Business, they discussed the rationale, technology, applications, and impact of Marispace-X, which is part of the umbrella Gaia-X project.

As a member of Marispace-X, TrueOcean is part of a collaboration to create a digital marine data space based on the data sovereignty, security, interoperability and modularity of Gaia-X. The project influences the development direction of the TrueOcean Marine Data Platform ensuring that operational and regulatory functions are both standardized and optimized.
