Looking back at the Digital Summit: A successful participation for north.io

Securing our oceans and especially our critical infrastructure at sea requires more than ships and sensors — it demands fast, reliable access to massive amounts of data. As the Ocean Big Data specialist, north.io is expanding its role in connecting decision-makers with the information they need to protect pipelines, cables, offshore platforms, and other vital assets beneath the waves.
Our work in the security domain began already long time ago by supporting public authorities in Germany, including our work for the Unexploded Ordnance Removal Service of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. Building on this foundation, we are supporting the offshore industry through our Ocean Data Platform technology, delivering data-driven insights to enhance maritime domain awareness.
Our role in this field is expanding steadily and fast. As a key partner in the ongoing ARGUS project, co-funded by the German Federal Ministry of Digitalisation and Transport, we are helping to strengthen Europe’s capabilities to monitor and secure critical underwater infrastructure, from pipelines and subsea cables to offshore platforms.
This year, our ocean data platform and analytical capabilities will be a key asset during the REPMUS and NATO Dynamic Messenger exercise in Portugal. These leading international exercises bring together allied navies, industry, and researchers to test uncrewed systems, multi-domain operational concepts, and new approaches. With our ocean data platform technology, we will be the digital backbone for underwater data — integrating multi-sensor data streams and enabling situational awareness in complex underwater environments.
From seabed to surface, our goal is clear: give decision-makers the trusted data they need — when and where it matters most.
