WindEnergy 2024 in Hamburg has come to a close, and what an incredible few days it’s been for north.io! We took this fantastic opportunity to showcase our groundbreaking ocean data platform, TrueOcean, and the response we received was highly encouraging. Here’s a recap of our exciting week.
At the event, we had the pleasure of introducing our ocean data platform, TrueOcean, to visitors through live demonstrations. These demos highlighted how TrueOcean is transforming the way offshore wind farms collect, process, and manage ocean data. Attendees saw firsthand how our platform can streamline workflows and shorten project timelines for offshore wind developers. Many left impressed by its intuitive interface and powerful capabilities.
We were also proud to emphasise the partnerships that strengthen our success. Our collaboration with develogic and Subsea Europe Services ensures we work towards modernising the entire journey of ocean data management from ping to cloud, while our preferred partner IONOS provides the robust and secure cloud infrastructure that powers our platform. These partnerships support us to deliver a reliable and comprehensive solution to the entire offshore wind lifecycle.
A major highlight of the event was the visit of Moritz Koch from VAERING, our new partner investor. Last week we announced the exciting news that north.io successfully closed an €8.5 million seed investment round, led by VAERING and supported by our existing investors. Mr. Koch’s visit further underscored this milestone as we continue to push the boundaries of ocean data management and accelerate the sustainable future of offshore wind innovation.
The theme of WindEnergy 2024 was focused on transforming the energy transition, and we’re proud of the role TrueOcean plays in this effort. By making ocean data more accessible, actionable, and insightful, we are empowering offshore wind developers to focus on advancing clean energy projects that combat climate change. This event has left us energised for what’s to come, and with the support of partners like develogic, Subsea Europe Services, and IONOS, TrueOcean is well-positioned to remain a key player in the offshore wind industry’s digital transformation.
We look forward to continuing these valuable conversations with our new contacts from the event as we move forward toward a more sustainable offshore wind future.
If you didn’t get the chance to see TrueOcean in action, don’t worry! You can still learn all about the platform and how it’s revolutionising ocean data management by visiting our product page or contacting us.
