north.io to showcase TrueOcean at WindEurope 2024 in Bilbao
We are thrilled to announce our participation at WindEurope 2024, taking place from March 20th to 22nd in Bilbao. As one of the leading events in the...
Ocean Big Data is transforming offshore projects. From environmental monitoring to site characterisation and offshore construction, the volume and complexity of marine data is growing rapidly. Yet for many offshore stakeholders, the management of this data efficiently remains a major challenge.
In our upcoming webinar, we explore how offshore teams can simplify marine data workflows and turn complex datasets into actionable insights without adding unnecessary complexity.
The session will be led by Jim Gardiner, a seasoned ocean technology expert with over 25 years of experience across operational oceanography, oceanographic & hydrographic instrumentation, and uncrewed survey systems. Jim brings deep technical expertise in taking ideas from early concept through to operational delivery, combining strong value propositions with real-world business requirements. His background spans roles as Innovation Manager, Product Manager, and Research Scientist, giving a unique, end-to-end perspective on today’s ocean data challenges.
Joining him is Dr. Simon van der Wulp, a coastal engineer with a background in coastal surveying, hydrodynamic numerical modelling and decision support systems operating as Solutions Engineer at north.io. He has supported the development of the Ocean Data Platform from its infant stages and will demonstrate how modern data platforms can remove friction from ocean data management and support faster, more confident decision-making.
During the webinar, we will cover:
The session will conclude with an open Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to dive deeper into specific challenges and use cases.
If you work with ocean data and are looking for practical ways to simplify workflows while keeping full control over your datasets, this webinar is for you.
